designing & building, one careful detail at a time.
I'm Amen, an AI native design engineer in Addis Ababa. I design and build software end to end, and I use AI to get from idea to working product faster. The saved time goes into the details.
Things I've made. Software for real problems.

Kabba
Design concept for a carpooling platform. Didn't ship.

ESW Commodity Generator
A tool I built for commodity calculations and Ethiopian Single Window export paperwork.

NBE Exchange Rate Tool
USD–ETB conversion at official National Bank of Ethiopia rates. No guesswork.

MEP Prices Tool
Minimum Export Price lookups and calculations for commodities.
About me. I like making things useful.
I work across product, design, and engineering. I start with the problem, shape the experience, choose the technical approach, and build the thing.
I care about software that's clear and easy to use. The interface matters, but so do the systems behind it and the details people don't notice until they go wrong.
My background spans frontend engineering, branding, and hands-on trade work. A lot of what I build starts with one question: can this be clearer, faster, or easier?
Experience. Where the tools come from.
Import & Export Officer
M E S B Trading PLC
Trade documentation and client communication across import and export operations. Built internal tools for commodity pricing and export paperwork. They're the same tools in my work section.
Frontend Engineer
MKS AddisContract frontend work, turning product and design requirements into working interfaces.
Branding & Design
Freelance
Freelance identity and visual design work.
